– Good but more enjoyable to look at than eat –
Review
Any art lovers heart with a flutter at the view of this afternoon tea, and even those usually not interested in art will admire the beautiful presentation of the cakes. They are nearly too beautiful to eat. However, the cakes are a case of looking better than they taste. While overall they were ok, the macaroon is not recommended, and personally, they were a bit too sugary. The sandwiches were all very nice, and I was very tempted to ask for more but I do recommend to be cautious as the afternoon tea is copious, and represents a meal in itself. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, but it is more a place to enjoy the environment than the gastronomy. Next time I will try the restaurant of the Rosewood, as the salty food has made me curious about the cooking.
